Junior Volunteers celebrate job well done

Students were treated to a pizza and pool party at the Auburn YMCA in June to celebrate the record number of volunteer service hours they contributed to their community during the school year. Students from Lisbon High contributed 3,917 hours; students from Sugg Middle School contributed 1,343 hours; and students from Lisbon Community School contributed 779 hours. Since the program was introduced in 2004, students from the Lisbon School District have contributed a total of 172,639 hours of volunteer service. Well done!
